The following is my interpretation of an old Indian prayer, which I dedicate to all
victims of New York's September 11, 2001 tragedy, but especially to the memory
of one of our extended Eaton family,
Robert D. Eaton,
Robert was a member of Cantor Fitzgerald and was among those who lost their life on that tragic day.
To his wife, Jacqui, and to their family and friends in New York and England, may we extend our sincerest
condolences. Anyone who would like to sign his guestbook, please do so by entering
"Here"
May they forever rest in peace!

In Memorium Do not stand here and weep -- I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow; I am the glistening drops of snow. I am the sun on fields of grain; I am the gentle fall of rain. When you awake in morning's hush, I am the brisk uplifting rush of scattered birds in circling flight. I am the moon and stars at night. Remember me and do not cry. I'm in your heart; I cannot die. And part of you I'll always be As 'ere I live in memory. So never leave the words unsaid -- What's in your heart and in your head. And learn to love for all its worth; Our time is short upon this earth. The lesson taught is hard but true; There for the grace of God go you. Their souls exchanged for you and me The price of right and liberty. In prayer and song our message brings Resolute hearts; let freedom ring! ![]() Copyright ©2002 Barbara Fitzsenry For additional dedication poems, please go to Poetry.com Anyone who would like to pay further tribute, please go to: |
