Objectives: The objectives of this Association include the collection, consolidation and preservation for posterity of genealogical data of our ancestors; the promotion of the principles of freedom and democracy for which our ancestors worked, fought, and died; and the cultivation of mutual acquaintance and friendship among our members.

These few words written by our ancestors over a century ago have inspired a new generation of Eaton family members to take up the gauntlet once again in a quest for its roots and to pay homage to those who have come before us. With great diligence and enthusiasm, we have accepted this challenge, and are pleased to announce that
MEMBERSHIP IS OPEN
for all descendants of the Eaton family and/or its many branches to participate in an exciting new venture. Our doors are open to anyone interested in joining their "cousins" around the world in sharing their family's heritage. Our previous association members did not have the opportunity to utilize the technology now available to us, and in that regard, we are pleased to present the Eaton Families Association web site. The enhanced features of this web site, available to Members Only, include a database consisting of over 45,000 names, archived historical records dating back many centuries and constantly updated, a chat room, a monthly newsletter as well as many additional features still in the planning and development stage. So now is the time to JOIN and become part of our growing family. We look forward to great new possibilities and hope you'll be there with us.
